Could be a cool use for the baggage building, 424 on a waiting list is a pretty good chunk of people and life into anyplace that they land. Part of the tower, baggage... who knows I think it has a some merit and maybe after a little more work and publicity from the CT crew it could be an option.

The load capabilities of our older buildings are real assets for artists and one of the reasons I think so many congregate here. The freedom, space and costs of quality space for artists is tough to come by.

But there are a lot of places that Artspace II could go and add life. Larkin District, Downtown, More on Main.

Mark, we actively pursued ArtSpace 4 years ago, when the project was first announced. They wouldn't even consider the idea. But, that was in the early days of reopening to the public. I wonder if our 5 year track record of arts events would change their minds?

to be honest, buffalo has a long way to go before there is another artspace project here. i would say that first is to actually get a working arts commission and at the very least renting out the first floor of the current artspace.
