I have heard that this is the true reason for its location in Amherst as well. and My comments are not not so much anti suburban as it is true. I have only been victimized by crime in the burbs. The area of Cheektowaga around the Galleria is ugly (something with which you and I agree) and you and your neighbors would not welcome a sex offender home on your street. then again you can find no faults with the suburbs at all. You even stated that the ugliness of Cheektowaga is OK in your book. Pundit

It's amazing to me how poorly planned that entire campus is and how unfriendly it is to anyone wanting to walk outdoors. We were moving server from the CC to Norton the other night at 1AM and the solitude and vastness of the campus was really overwhelming. It's a creepy concrete jungle out there.
