i just went to DC paid 3 times face vsalue of a ticket off the street and watched the WASHINGTON CAPITALS

A) beat the sabres 7-4
B) board brier into the wall and take him out for 5 minutes
C)watch afiniganov get kicked to his ass and then take the puck up the ice and score
D)the 5 minute major to ove that you guys converted for 1…read one…goal was well worth it to see brier lying in a heap of pain
E)ryan miller the so called best goalie in the league was proved to be a sophmore nothing who has no right in the nhl as he gave up 3 in 7, then yanked.
F)biron proved himself to be quiet the backup giving up another 3

dude i love you, the sabres time though sweet was short and now over, maybe miller can go back and finish high school now because he cant be more then 17 years old. go caps, you know your a washington boy at heart

I’m kind of pushing it with this post because quite frankly it has nothing to do with Buffalo but I feel the need to express.
My favorite band, post-punkers “Bloc Party” from London released their sophmore album “A Weekend in the City” and its a beautiful assortment of tunes that put together a perfectly ordered track list that tell of an intense weekend in…well…the city.
So for you Buffalo urbanites out there…give it a shot. Doesn’t quite sound like a night on Chippewa, maybe more a chaotic, drunk night followed by an awkward and maybe even upsetting morning in Allentown or Elmwood.

Not so sure about that. My Maryland friends have a field day with the way I stretch my A’s out like your typical emotionally charged up Cheektowagan. But I will say that living in Maryland took the Buffalo accent away from my dad except when he would say Haaaaaasssek (Hasek) and Saaataaaaaan (Satan) and since I moved back here I’ve started saying Caaaaffey (Coffee) and Haaackeyy (Hockey). Linguistics is just oh so facinating eh?
