Our Endorsement
We here (well, I only see myself) want to officially announce our endorsement of Kevin Helfer for mayor. Although Byron Brown seems to have it wrapped up, and in all honesty-neither one will do much for us anyways, we still think Helfer has better ideas for the economic growth of the Waterfront, Downtown, and the city as a whole. Brown seems to be a black version of Masiello (in other words; a nice guy who loves Buffalo but isn’t going to do much). Helfer seems like slightly more of a go-getter which is what we need (see Brian Higgins). So take it for what its worth. We say “Helfer for mayor”. After all, he did a good job for my Univerity District (Minnesota Ave. Holla!).
P.S. I’m still pissed they only allowed 200ppl into the HSBC Arena for the last mayor debate. That was $3.00 in metro tickets that I will never get back.
Magic Cookies
Yesterday I did some Elmwooding as i like to say (walking down Elmwood ave. for those of you who are slow) and one of the last stores me and my friends went into was the Hemp Clothing store.

The guy there was extremely friendly (possible high, but thats another story) and on the way out he offered us cookies. On the way out another employee came in and said with a half evil half jubilant laugh “mmmmm cookies!!!” I am a little slow myself so I took one and enjoyed it despite its funny taste. Yes Buffalo, I had a hemp cookie yesterday and it was mysteriously enjoyable but legal. So a shoutout to my stoned homies at the Hemp Clothing Store on Elmwood. Keep baking.
Uh-Oh
Oh my, ladies and gentlemen, it looks like “All Things Buffalo” just might have come back with avengance. After a loooong and well earned break, and possibly with some help from others, I thing we’r ready to get things up and running again.
So with that said, let me reflect on these last few months since I stopped blogging.
I finally moved back to Buffalo full-time. Which is awesome. Its a wierd feeling, I wasn’t excited or anything, it was just this greatly satisfying feeling that I am officially home. My one and only real home. I’ve been gettin back in the groove of being an everyday buffalonian again…eating Bocce’s pizza, goin to sabres games, bills games, even bisons games…marveling at the depressing state of main street, and realizing truly how much this city is struggling. I’ve had a lot of great and a lot oh humbling experiences here and returning to this city has been long overdue, and extremeley satisfying.
So here is to the return of “All Things Buffalo” and here is to our home we call Buffalo.
