Anyone else have this game? I found it in my grandma’s closet six years ago and I still haven’t figured out how to play it.

Things Are Getting Fishy

Whoa! So now Bass Pro is going to build a bigger project in Pittsburgh? The more days go by, the more I think this Aud project is going to be a bigger and bigger bust. First of all, just think about what we are saying…the catalyst of downtown Buffalo’s development is a friggin Fishing store?!!? I don’t care how big it is or how many people like to go fishing, some big ol’ fishing store is going to be an eye sore amongst office buildings mixed in with some beautiful old buildings. Imagine putting a sports retail store in D.C. or in Manhattan. I know, I know, beggars can’t be choosers but we could do so much better. What about IKEA? Yes, they are in Toronto and Pittsburgh, but at least they appeal to much more people in the Buffalo area. Masiello is insiting that there is nothing wrong with Bass Pro’s latest move. Something tells me that maybe the Aud will still be around five years from now. And at this point, I actually don’t mind that.

Yes! Some more Peace Bridge stuff. It’s only been god knows how many years that this thing has been discussed and from what it sounds like, things are gonna heat up this fall when this jury comes up with a plan.
Juror, Olga Karman, a Spanish professor and community affairs coordinator at D’Youville College;
“I think this bridge could be part of our landscape, something that tells people coming from the north this is a city worth noting, that this is a city that appreciates beauty. I feel strongly about that.”
“Things are really beginning to move and this looks like a great panel,” said U.S. Sen. Charles E. Schumer, D-N.Y. “Now we’re going to weigh in to get Buffalo the signature bridge and the great gateway it deserves.”
Well, possibly, just possibly, we could look back on 2005 and say:
“Wow! Medical Complex, Bass Pro, Blue Cross, Casino, new Bills stadium planned, and Peace Bridge…all put together this year. Golly, thanks Mr. Masiello!”

CasiNO
Ooooh i’m good with puns…yeeeeeah actually i’m not so much against the casino. Beggars can’t be choosers and Buffalo is certainly a beggar when it comes to the revitalization of our city. If the Casino comes with the pimped-out hotel like it sounds like it will, that will be a plus. But there seem to be a few too many Casinos already,

so this one better stand out above the rest. Basically, as long as it is not on the waterfront, it’s cool…it’s just nice to see that the private sector believes in Buffalo, and that the city is starting to look up.
